Hi there!
Like so many folks, I came to yoga for a nice workout. It felt great to move, breath and see how my body could develop strength, balance and even get into some funky pretzel-ish shapes.
Shortly after walking into my first yoga class, my husband began to refer to my Saturday morning yoga routine as my βcalm blue ocean.β
It turns out there was way more than a work out happening!
That weekly class helped me balance the stress of returning to college while working full-time in the medical field and carried me through graduate training in mental health counseling.
In 2018, I stepped away from corporate work to open Ananda Counseling + Wellness, where I could bring all of myself to work every day. And more importantly, blend the ancient wisdom of Yoga with modern neuroscience to support YOU, in all of your fullness, complexity and uniqueness.
My approach is rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity to find balance and joy within their lives and Iβm PUMPED to support you on your path.
Iβm so glad youβre here
